![]() "Majestic Trend"
African Gold Group announced it was entering Mali, West Africa, through the acquisition of three gold concessions on the 28th of June, 2005. The acquisition included a body of reference material that comprises a historical data base derived from the expenditure of approximately €5,000,000 in exploration and development capital. Kobada is located in the Kangaba region of Mali and measures 216 sq. km. This includes the Kobada, Foroko and Acoma concessions. To date most of the exploration work on Kobada has been confined to "Zone 1", a 1.2 km long gold in soil anomaly that represents a mere 10% of the entire 12 km, anomalous Kobada Trend. AGG believes that the Kobada Trend may have multi-million oz Au potential. At this point, the whole of "Zone-1" has been infill drilled yielding favorable results: 81 Meters of 1.21 g/t Au, including 18 Meters of 2.26 g/t Au, and 48 Meters of 2.95 G/T Au including 19.20 Meters of 5.91 G/T Au. In November of 2007, AGG initiated a 25,000 Meter RC drill campaign to test for Au mineralization over the remaining untested 11 kilometers of the Kobada Trend. The exploration potential remains open along strike and at depth. The best intercepts are summarized in the following table: AGG Kobada 2006-2007 The best intercepts on section(s)
The exploration results are listed below in the order that we received them. May 30, 2007 African Gold Group, Inc: 33 New Drill Holes Advance Kobada Potential To Southwest Within "Zone 1" For coherence, the results from the 33 diamond drill holes have been organized according to the section the hole was drilled on as opposed to numerical order and are depicted in Table 1 below. TABLE 1: RESULTS FROM AGG'S DIAMOND DRILLING CAMPAIGN
Director, Greg Hawkins, P.Geo, comments, "Drilling continues to confirm the continuity and size of the Kobada system. Our initial review of the drill data, contained within the historical data base, led us to anticipate that the average grade falls below 1.0 g/t Au from 18+50S to 21+00S, even though the width of the zone persists throughout the strike. Hole KB07-42, on section 22+50S, with 42.0 m of 1.05g/t Au attests to the continuity as does Hole KB07-54 on Section 24+00S with 17.00m of 2.05g/t Au. The shallow historical holes, that support this model within this region, are illustrated in Table 2 below." TABLE 2: HISTORICAL DRILLING -- SECTIONS 20+00S, 21+00S & 24+00S
March 28, 2007 African Gold Group, Inc: KB07-19 Intersects 42 Meters of 1.45 g/t Au, Including 28 Meters Of 2.01 g/t Au at Kobada, Mali The drill core samples were both HQ and NQ size and were cut in half by a diamond saw on site. Half of the core from one meter long samples was shipped to Groupe de laboratoire ALS MALI SARL, located in Bamako, Mali and analyzed for gold by fire assay on a 50 gram sample charge. Metallic screen assays were also performed on all samples from within the mineralized zone. Standards and blanks were inserted alternatively every 20 samples submitted to the laboratory for analysis. TABLE 1: RESULTS FROM AGG's CONTINUING DIAMOND DRILLING CAMPAIGN
The above results confirm an additional 50 meters of strike length and simultaneously test another historical section in 19+00S. AGG has now successfully tested 600 meters of the 1,200 meters that are indicated by historical drilling (see Table 2, below). TABLE 2: HISTORICAL DRILLING ON SECTION 19+00S
February 06, 2007 African Gold Group, Inc: KB07-16 Intersects 81.5 Meters of 1.30 G/T AU, Including 15.8 Meters Of 4.95 G/T AU At Kobada, Mali The drill core samples were both HQ and NQ size and were cut in half by a diamond saw on site.
The above results confirm an additional 100 meters of strike length and simultaneously test another historical section in 1800S. AGG has now successfully tested 550 meters of the 1,200 meters that are indicated by historical drilling (see Table 2, below). TABLE 2: HISTORICAL DRILLING ON SECTION 18+00S
