Mr. Cheatle is a mining industry executive and professional geoscientist with more than 25 years of domestic and international experience encompassing both the senior and junior mining sectors. He is a graduate of the Royal School of Mines, Imperial College, London, and has been involved with building teams that have consistently delivered shareholder value through the discovery and development of multimillion-ounce gold deposits. Mr. Cheatle was previously the Executive Director of the Prospectors and Developers Association of Canada and is currently also a non-executive director of Condor Gold PLC, a Toronto Stock Exchange- and Alternative Investment Market-listed mining company with multimillion-ounce gold projects.
President and COO
Mr. Campbell is a professional certified mining engineer. Mr. Campbell has 30 years of extensive exploration and mining-project experience across Africa, and spent more than 20 years with Anglo American PLC. Prior to joining the Company, Mr. Campbell was Chief Executive Officer of Buffalo Coal Corp., and currently acts as Chief Operating Officer of Trigon Metals Inc. Mr. Campbell received his BSc in mining engineering from the University of Witwatersrand in 1985 and is currently a member of the South African Institute of Mining and Metallurgy and the South African Colliery Managers Association. Mr. Campbell has also completed a number of career-enhancing courses at globally recognized institutions in both the engineering and business fields.
CPA, CGA, and CFA holder with +15 years of experience in the public and private sectors. He has served as CFO to a number of companies in the mining sector, particularly exploration and development stage companies.
+22 years as a civil servant working for the Malian Ministry of Public Works and Transportation. + 20 years of experience facilitating exploration and mining activities in Mali; former experience with Golden Shamrock, SEMAFO, OREZONE, Golden Rim and African Gold Group. Former management experience at Direction Nationale des Travaux Publics, Chief Division of Supply Fuel at Petrostock State Company.
Mr. Theron brings 17 years of extensive management, capital project development and M&A experience within the mining industry. Prior to joining Trigon Metals, Mr. Theron was Managing Director at Liberty Metals & Mining, a private equity group based in Boston, Massachusetts. Mr. Theron was also a strategic member on the board of directors of True Gold Mining.
Prior to his work in Boston, Stephan was President & CEO at Forbes & Manhattan Coal Corp. While he worked at Forbes Coal, he led the acquisition, restructuring and development of two coal mines in South Africa. He has structured numerous mining focused investments and has worked on mining projects throughout Africa and North America. Mr. Theron holds a degree in Finance and is a Chartered Professional Accountant.
Stan Bharti, P. Eng, M. Eng.
Stan Bharti has over 25 years of experience in operations, public markets and finance. Over the last 15 years Mr. Bharti has been involved in acquiring, restructuring and financing. He is a Professional Mining Engineer and holds a Masters Degree in Engineering from Moscow, Russia and University of London, England. From 2002 to April 2006, Mr. Bharti was a director and past president of Desert Sun Mining Corp. (which was acquired by Yamana Gold Inc. in 2006). In addition, Mr. Bharti is a director of several public and private companies. Mr. Bharti is a former director of Avion Gold.
Mr. Humphrey is a mining engineer with over 35 years’ experience working in senior management roles with both junior and senior mining companies. From 2007 to 2009 he served as Chairman of Consolidated Thompson Iron Mines Limited. He served as the President and Chief Executive Officer of Desert Sun Mining Corp. from October 2004 to April 2006. From May 1998 to May 2004, Mr. Humphrey served as Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Goldcorp Inc. Mr. Humphrey currently sits on the board of B2Gold Corp., and is a former director of Alderon Resources Corp., Crocodile Gold Corp., Avion Gold and Sulliden Gold Corporation Ltd. He is a member of the Professional Engineers of Ontario.
Mr. Begeman is a Professional Mining Engineer with over 35 years’ experience. He previously served as the President and CEO of Avion Gold Corporation, Chief Operating Officer of Zinifex Canada Inc. and Vice President, Western Operations of Goldcorp Inc. In his capacity for Goldcorp, he was responsible for its surface gold operations in South Dakota and the Industrial Minerals Division in Saskatchewan. Prior to Goldcorp, Mr. Begeman held various engineering and management positions with Morrison Knudsen Company in the contract mining operations group throughout the Western United States. He currently serves as Chairman of the Board for Premier Gold Mines Limited and is a director of African Gold Group. Mr. Begeman holds a B.Sc. in Mining Engineering, a M.S. in Engineering Management and a MBA.

Sir Sam Jonah
Executive chairman of Jonah Capital, an investment holding company in South Africa., chairman of both Hollard Insurance Company Ltd and Iron Mineral Beneficiation Services, member of the Global Advisory Council of Bank of America, member of the trustee board of The Investment Climate Facility.
He also worked for Ashanti Goldfields Company Limited, becoming CEO in 1986, and was formerly executive president of AngloGold Ashanti Ltd. and executive director of Lonmin Plc.
Hon. Pierre Pettigrew
The Honourable Pierre S. Pettigrew has had a distinguished career as a Canadian federal cabinet minister, serving as Minister of Foreign Affairs from 2004 to 2006 and Minister for International Trade from 1999 to 2003. He also served as Minister of Health and Minister of Intergovernmental Affairs from 2003 to 2004 and Minister of Human Resources Development and Minister of International Cooperation from 1996 to 1999. As a cabinet minister, he chaired numerous working groups on difficult international trade issues and lead trade missions to China, India, Russia, Germany, Algeria, Morocco, South Africa, Nigeria, Mexico and other countries. From 1985 to 1995, he was an International Business Consultant with Deloitte & Touche LLP and from 2006 to present he has been an Executive Advisor, International at Deloitte & Touche LLP. Mr. Pettigrew currently sits on the boards of Aberdeen International Inc., Avion Gold Corporation, Longford Energy Inc., Eurocontrol Technics Inc. and IC Potash Corp.
